Registration is now open for the 2013 Worldviews Conference on Media and Higher Education. Co-organized by OCUFA, Worldviews explores the complex – and occasionally fraught – relationship between academic and media.
Worldviews 2013 will be a lively two-day conference, assembling a variety of thinkers – academics, editors, students, journalists, communications professionals – offering critical perspectives on higher education and the media and possible directions for the future.

The conference will explore the impact of new and emerging forms of communication, the internationalization of university campuses in a time of explosive demand, and how fundamental shifts in journalism are affecting higher education, to list only a few.

This year’s conference feature a host of exciting speakers from around the globe, including Mark Kingwell (author and philosopher), Adrian Monk (Head of Communications and Media, World Economic Forum), Tony Burman (journalist and former Chief Strategic Advisor for the Americas, Al-Jazeera),  Lynn Pasquerella (President, Mount Holyoke College), and many more!

The conference will take place June 19th – 21, 2013, in Toronto on the University of Toronto Campus.
