The four-year deal includes yearly ATB increases of 1.5 per cent in the first two years, followed by 2.5 per cent and 3 per cent. It also includes a 1.5 per cent increase in salary to offset an 1.5 per cent increase in pension contributions, as well as enhancements to health and dental benefits.

The Wilfrid Laurier University Faculty Association (WLUFA) is heading into conciliation, with dates scheduled for January 24 and 26, 2012, with January 27th set aside should it be needed. The Conciliator is Greg Long.

Bargaining continues at the University of Ottawa. Across the province, Trent, Brescia, St. Paul and York have just begun, or are gearing up, for negotiations.
